On October 25, 2018, Great Lakes Labs’ staff member, Taye Leftridge, became certified in administering and training to administer Narcan in an emergency overdose situation.

According to to the CDC, in Indiana alone, 1,840 people died as a result of overdose in 2017. That is up 18% compared to 2016. Senator Donnelly has been a great advocate for more funding and resources to better equip the men and women who are on the front line providing prevention and treatment to those who desperately need it.
